I defended my thesis, "Origin and Composition of the Light-Toned Layered Deposits in Iani Chaos, Mars," with wonderful results!

Christmas in Seattle, Jeff's Christmas present to me (our photoshoot), and my Christmas present to Jeff (vacation in La Conner, WA).

Decided to skip town for Fall Break this year.

Combining my photography with some Photoshop to get artsy results. :)

Decided to walk around campus on a nice sunny day and take some photos for the family.

Astrid's parents came from Germany to see her thesis defense, and they invited me to come with them on this tour on the last Sunday of July 2007.

En route to and from the 7th Mars conference in Pasadena, I went through Seattle, Joshua Tree National Park, the Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater, Sunset Crater Volcano, Albuquerque, and Petroglyph National Monument. The trip and the 7th Mars Conference took up the first three weeks of July 2007.

Me, Ann, and Astrid went to Plymouth, Massachusettes on 20 May 2007. It was wet and rainy, just like home. :)
